Burak Dikici

I am a senior student in the Political Science and International Relations department at MEF University in Istanbul, Turkey, focusing on political economy studies. I am currently working as a research assistant, analyzing how central banks communicate their monetary policy using social media data and discourse-focused methods.

I serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the MEF Journal of International Politics (MJIP), overseeing the journal’s editorial workflow, peer reviews, and editorial decision coordination, as well as publication planning and promotion.

My research interests focus on international political economy at the intersection of political science and economics. Outside of academia, I enjoy listening to classical music and playing tennis.
