Burak Dikici

I am a Political Science and International Relations graduate from MEF University in Istanbul, Türkiye, with a strong interest in political economy, monetary policy, and academic research.

I currently work as an Economics Research Assistant at MEF University, contributing to a research project examining public discourse on monetary policy in Turkish social media, using large-scale social media data and classification methods.

I previously served as Editor-in-Chief of the MEF Journal of International Politics (MJIP), where I led the journal’s editorial strategy, publication process, and institutional outreach, and worked on projects aimed at making academic knowledge more accessible to wider audiences.

My academic interests lie at the intersection of political science and economics, particularly in international political economy and policy analysis. I am especially interested in how political and economic ideas are shaped, communicated, and debated in both academic and public settings.

Outside of my academic work, I am a co-founder of the Victis Project, contributing content support to an entertainment channel with over 90,000 subscribers and 255 million+ views. In my free time, I play tennis, listen to classical music, and write poetry.
