Burak Dikici

I am a senior Political Science and International Relations student at MEF University in Istanbul, Türkiye, with a strong interest in political economy, monetary policy, and academic research. I currently work as a research assistant on a project that examines public discourse on monetary policy in Turkish social media, using large-scale social media data and classification methods.

Alongside my research work, I serve as the Editor-in-Chief of the MEF Journal of International Politics (MJIP). In this role, I coordinate the journal’s editorial process, oversee publication planning, and contribute to projects that aim to make academic knowledge more accessible to wider audiences.

My academic interests lie at the intersection of political science and economics, especially in international political economy and policy analysis. I am particularly interested in how political and economic ideas are shaped, communicated, and debated in both academic and public settings.

Outside of academic work, I also enjoy producing accessible content on economics and history. In my free time, I enjoy listening to classical music and playing tennis.
