Burak Dikici

I’m a senior undergraduate student in Political Science and International Relations at MEF University in Istanbul, Türkiye, focusing on political economy studies. I currently work as a research assistant, where I analyze how central banks communicate monetary policy by using social media data and discourse-oriented methods.

I serve as Editor-in-Chief of the MEF Journal of International Politics (MJIP), where I lead the journal’s editorial workflow, from coordinating peer review and editorial decisions to publication planning and outreach. In this role, I also worked to strengthen MJIP’s external visibility, including organizing the journal’s public-facing information and securing its listing in the Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Undergraduate Research Journal directory.

My research interests lie at the intersection of international political economy, monetary policy, and economic diplomacy. Outside academia, I enjoy classical music and follow tennis.
